The Queen of the Night by *SnowSkadi - I'm amazed of amount of details in this work and I simply love that beautiful dress, also, how precise fabrics and jewellery are drawn (not to mention that interesting crown-hat she's wearing). And the lightning! Those candles make good light source, such a sweet atmosphere! ( Suggested by sebeka and Featured by archanN )

Wow!
I don't know want medium exactly you used. But I will assume it's all digital(PS).

First of all, the drawing is gargeous! I love all the layers of the fabric in the dress and the "hat". There some many details.... In the background too! all the candles... They are realistic, and dreamlike at the same time. I love the fading you make there, it turns the attention back to the character just well, but still keep just enough to be interesting to look at it (even for a while). The veil is very dynamic. And I love the fading at the end of it too, it integrates it too the background. All the fabric look real. The fold in the fabric are look good. You really master the technique.
The anatomy look great. First negative point, the left hand look weird. The wrist is too far from the fingers and it looks like she has 2 thumbs... one one below the veil and one over it. But the one below fit with the wrist. (End of the 1st neg point!)

I realy love the light you have created in this scene. All the shading in the fabric, especially on the bodice of the dress. The contrast of color and light direct the attention on the charater very very well! All the color are related and well chosed. Second negative point (and I'm searching trouble here) I don't like the shade of purple just beneath the veil, over the very bottom of the dress. I think it's too light and too saturated. It bring the back ground too close to us and attract attention. Otherwise, great job! I love the transperency of the 2 little veils on both side of the head.

My very last point is that you manage to give a look of waterpaint to a digital artwork! It's really impressive!!
It's would make a really good print, because of the many details you put in there. And you can look a t it over and over and still find something you didn't notice before.

You have done a really great piece a art, despite the 2 very little weak points that I found (I think a good critique should always have negative points, it's help improve ourselves).

Great Job!

Wow.. this is quite a work of art.
I was actually shocked to see that this was under digital art, I really thought it was a painting!

Every single detail in this piece is of perfection, I love it!
But I think what I love most of all this is the lighting from the candles, it really just works with the picture so well.
Each bit of fabric used just looks so realistic and matches the design perfectly.
The sorrow in her face really says something too.
Absolutely stunning, I really can't take my eyes off this work.

The gallery of this artist is gorgeous too, I highly recomend checking it out!
