Oh man, this picture is very detailed and meticulously imaginative. The area really reminds me of the steampunk genre (especially that in the movie 9), what with the Victorian-style housing and the presence of heavy machinery prevalent therein. I can almost smell the molten steel coming from the foundry and being delivered to the trains that run on the tracks to nowhere in particular. Even the ship helps by balancing the unusually light spot at the top, as if though it were a casual observer to the everyday life of a person living in this mechanical canyon. I love this picture so much that I really need to collect it. Thanks, man!

I like the colors, depth and especially the light in this picture. The design of the buildings is great, I can totally picture gnomes living there- it wouldn't suit elves, dwarves or any other race so I really think you pulled the concept off in a fabolous way.

The thing I think is missing in this picture though is some movement. Right now it feels a little bit like a model. As suggested, I also think some people or maybe a train moving on the railway would give the picture a little more life. Now the only thing you have that is giving some life is the flying ship and the melted iron (or what it is) that is pouring in the lower right corner - and that kind of saves the picture from looking completely like a model.

Great work nevertheless, I really love your work!
